Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2024

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when creating an account, including your email address, display name, and business information. We also collect transaction data related to deposits, invoices, and payments processed through the Service. Additionally, we automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to provide and maintain the Service, process cryptocurrency transactions, generate invoices and payment links, communicate with you about your account and transactions, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

We may share your information with connected exchange providers (e.g., MEXC) solely for the purpose of processing transactions. We may also share information with service providers who assist in operating the Service, law enforcement when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer or merger. All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements.

4. Blockchain Data

Cryptocurrency transactions are recorded on public blockchains. Wallet addresses, transaction amounts, and timestamps are publicly visible by design. EasyCryptoPay does not control blockchain data and cannot delete or modify on-chain records. We do not publicly associate your identity with blockchain addresses, but on-chain data is inherently transparent.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest for sensitive data, secure API authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years for compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations. Blockchain transaction data cannot be deleted as it exists on public ledgers.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict processing, data portability, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences (e.g., light/dark theme). We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
